What this service is

Old School AI encodes your identity (your voice, values, professional background, and how you operate) into a living profile Claude reaches through the Old School AI connector. Your questionnaire responses are yours. The profile and files we generate are yours. We are the assembly layer in between.

Old School AI is operated by Michael Alshooler (Alshooler Consulting). We are an independent product built on the Anthropic Claude API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with Anthropic.

Your account

Your account is personal. Do not share login credentials. Do not use the service to generate identity files for other people without their knowledge and consent.

How skills are delivered

Skills are delivered to your Claude account as a service, through our connector or as packaged downloads we provide. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use your generated skills and identity files with your own Claude account for as long as your account is in good standing. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or make available to any third party the skill content, templates, or the structure of the packages, and you may not access the service or connector endpoints by any automated means to extract, scrape, or bulk-download skill content. The templates, methodology, and skill architecture are our intellectual property; your answers and your generated outputs remain yours, as stated in “Your data.”

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Reverse engineer or copy the skill templates or assembly system
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-generate outputs
  • Access the connector or any API endpoint other than through the product as documented
  • Use another user's connector URL or credentials
  • Systematically extract skill or template content
  • Use the service to build a competing skill-generation dataset

Beta

Old School AI is in active development. The service is live and functional but features may change, be added, or be removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Email hello@oldschoolai.co if something is broken.

Your data

You own your questionnaire responses and everything we generate from them. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. On the free plan it is never sent to any AI system; on the paid plan, optional AI features run only with your consent.

AI-assisted features

The paid plan includes optional features that use third-party AI providers: answer review, synthesis, and voice dictation. These run only when you invoke them and only after you consent in the product, as described in our Privacy Policy. Their output is generated by an AI system applying our methodology. It is feedback and suggestion, not a guarantee: we do not warrant that any review, synthesis, or transcription is accurate, complete, or suited to any particular purpose, and nothing these features produce is professional, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice. You decide what to accept; nothing is saved to your profile without your action. These features depend on third-party providers and may change or be temporarily unavailable.

Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content available through the service infringes your copyright, send a notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent: [agent name], hello@oldschoolai.co, [address]. We will respond as the DMCA requires, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If something went wrong, email hello@oldschoolai.co and we will work it out.

Limitation of liability

Old School AI is provided as-is. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We cannot guarantee that your identity files will produce any specific output from Claude. Claude is Anthropic's product and operates under Anthropic's systems and policies. We build the best encoding we can. What Claude does with it depends on Anthropic's platform and your specific usage.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.

Closing your account

Email hello@oldschoolai.co with "Delete my account" in the subject line. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
